Partner Specialty Care Solutions

Specialty Care Solutions

Oftentimes, health systems and communities develop and implement unique, specialty care service lines to meet individual healthcare needs. Understanding this, Lifeguard offers a full range of specialty care solutions, including asset and fleet management, fleet maintenance service and staffing coordination, such as providing EMS drivers and/or supplying highly trained, clinical professionals. Lifeguard understands the importance, as well as the demands, of maintaining high quality and standardization. To demonstrate this commitment, we assist our partners in the pursuit of their strategic and tactical goals, such as CAMTS* (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems), chest pain/stroke certifications or other industry-specific accreditations. Lifeguard’s total solution set exemplifies our devotion to quality and innovation and our dedication to our healthcare partners, as we maintain a primary focus on improved patient outcomes.

Air Medical Transport

Lifeguard works closely with both air medical fixed-wing and rotor-wing EMS services, assuring patients are transported by the most appropriate means for optimal clinical outcome. Coordinating with the fixed-wing and rotor-wing providers in Lifeguard’s service areas, our teams are able to establish aligned protocols and understand safety mechanisms, resulting in smoother care transitions.

Lifeguard1

Reinforcing our culture of innovation, Lifeguard operates a fully integrated E-911 system with its ground ambulances and Lifeguard1, its Bell 407GX helicopter. Through collaboration with the E-911 communications center, all methods of emergency response are carefully aligned and coordinated to include local first responders, Lifeguard’s ground ambulances and the dispatch of Lifeguard1. All first responders train and work together to provide a seamless and coordinated transition of patient care to promote optimal responses and patient outcomes.

*In 2012, as the vendor for an accredited program, the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) identified Lifeguard for its best practices as it relates to the safety program of the drivers/operators.
